Investment cast Type 316 stainless steel. Double threaded headboard pin prevents accidental loss overboard, but may be removed if desired. A special cast in recess allows the headboard pin to sit flush when opened, providing full clearance over headboards or pressed rings. Large Flared Head desiged for use with stainless or plastic rope thimbles.
