Schaefer's "Sure-Grip" cam cleats are made from inventment cast stainless steel that won't wear out or corrode. Similar compeitor designs use either plastic composites which can dull as a result of heat buildup, or die cast aluminum which has a higher potential for corrosion.
Our computer designed flared jaws allow lines to "drop in" without pulling for quick engagement and release while the open top and removable fasteners allow flushing and disassembly for easy maintenance.
Wire fairlead guides line into jaws for smooth operation. Maximum line size 7/16". Use with our Wedge Kit for custom mounting.
